Conscious Minds Yorkshire was born from a deep desire to create a beautiful and nurturing learning community. After years of teaching children and young people in various settings, my passion for education remained unwavering. However, a common theme emerged from my experience in both mainstream and alternative education—children were often expected to fit into a rigid "system," no matter what that system looked like.

A Shift in Perspective Through Motherhood

Motherhood brought a drastic change in my perspective on education and what truly matters in life. I began questioning whether I would feel comfortable sending my own son to school, especially in the current educational climate. It became clear to me that the traditional school system is not designed to help children thrive. It is an outdated structure that fails to meet the diverse needs of most children.

What We Offer at Conscious Minds Yorkshire

Conscious Minds Yorkshire is a brand-new educational childcare setting based in Leeds/Wakefield, designed to provide an alternative to conventional schooling. Our aim is to nurture a love of learning through a bespoke, nature-integrated curriculum. We work with the seasons to create a calm and inspiring learning journey that encourages curiosity and growth in young minds.

We also offer our curriculum as a monthly membership, allowing families to access our unique learning resources and experiences.
